About Me
My name is Chloë Epstein and I am a visual artist who specializes in painting, illustration, and printmaking.
I have been creating artwork my whole life, but became serious after finding a passion for comic books and cartoons. I felt drawn towards visual storytelling and wished to create my own stories and characters. I received a degree in fine arts through Bryn Mawr and Haverford's bi-co system, while also studying art history and creative writing. After graduating, I began working freelance with various companies and clients, where I drew illustrations involving topics in education, equity, community, and more. During that time, I was also working as the head teaching assistant and monitor at Haverford’s printmaking studio under Professor Hee Sook Kim. After transitioning as a full-time artist, I started volunteering at the Philadelphia Sketch Club as a printmaking teacher. I run classes every Saturday, and teach intaglio, monotype, and relief. Currently, I am focusing on publishing my own children's book.
